Footnotify 0.6.5 released.

A minor maintenance release. The update fixes an issue on sites with custom z-indices. Reduced duration for visual effects (configurable in Safari). And I finally got around to give Footnotify a proper icon. Download and install to Google Chrome. Safari users may update in the extensions preference pane or download extension and double click the downloaded file to install.
